BRYN MAWR, Pa., June 3, 2003-As part of the 2003 Bryn Mawr Summer Festival, The Bryn Mawr Trust Company will present a free concert on the lawn adjacent to Ludington Library in Bryn Mawr on Tuesday, June 17th, starting at 7 p.m. The featured attraction will be Cheers the Band, a versatile group of seven musicians who also perform as vocalists. The program, designed to entertain all age groups, will include music from the 20's right on up to current popular favorites. This Atlantic City-based act has played in the leading showrooms of the stars in Atlantic City, Reno and the Poconos. Cheers has been the opening act for Jay Leno, David Brenner and Gloria Estefan & the Miami Sound Machine. In case of inclement weather, the performance will be rescheduled to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18th. The entire community is invited to come out and enjoy the talents of this exceptional group of musicians.
